Find the right resource for your student:
PowerSchool Parent Portal
PowerSchool gives families with students in pre-K through grade 12 easy access to class grades, attendance information and student schedules. The portal also gives you “single sign-on” access to other online services without having to create accounts specifically for those sites. The online student information tool comes in two versions: one for students and one for parents and guardians. While students get their accounts automatically, parents and guardians need to create an account.
PowerSchool Parent Portal can be accessed using a browser on a computer, phone or tablet, or by downloading the app for Apple or Android devices (use the school division’s assigned code, MXZM). For a list of current menu options see the PowerSchool Parent Portal information sheet.
- Please note that the app has some restrictions and does not display all menu options.
- Note: Families can use a related online service, PowerSchool Enrollment, to start the enrollment process for new students. PowerSchool Enrollment requires a separate account from the one created by parents and guardians to access PowerSchool Parent Portal.
-

Welcome back! If you created a Parent Portal account last year, including during last year’s course recommendation window, you will continue to use that same account. Usernames and passwords have not changed for any parent accounts created last school year. See the “Information for New Users” tab if you need to create an account.
To find out more about what information is on the PowerSchool Parent Portal, check out this PowerSchool Parent Portal information sheet.
PowerSchool Parent Portal allows parents and guardians with more than one child to see all their children’s information at one time with one login and password. This also allows parents and guardians to have separate accounts for your children.

Here is some help for two common login problems:
- Your login no longer works and you cannot reset your password.
- You are trying to register but can’t – your email or phone number isn’t recognized.
What to do:
- Ask the school’s in house PowerSchool administrator to confirm that you are in the school’s database and that your contact details match your ParentSquare account.
- Once the school updates your contact details (the most common issue), the change should be reflected the next business day. Updates made by 5 pm will be reflected the next day.
- If you still have problems, the next step would be for the school PowerSchool to contact the school division ParentSquare administrator.
