HCPS Student Assessment Information

Specialty Center Assessments

  • Applicants already enrolled in Henrico County Public Schools will take up to two assessments based on the requirements of the centers they select.
  • Scores from the Fall Quarter 1, 8th grade reading assessment, will be used in lieu of a separate reading assessment, based on the requirements of the centers they select.
  • Applications must have been submitted before students can test.
  • Students will take the assessment(s) at their school.
  • Testing will take place for HCPS students in person using laptop computers.
