Transcripts and Records Request

Sales Tax Update on Credential Requests
Starting January 6, 2026, sales tax will be collected on certain document requests, including transcripts, immunizations and test scores, in compliance with federal, state and local tax laws. This change may affect the total cost of your request based on various factors such as document type, delivery method and location.

Before completing your order, you will see a breakdown of all charges, including any applicable taxes, to ensure total transparency.

Ordering Transcripts

Beginning with the Class of 2027 and beyond, Henrico County Public Schools students will request and send transcripts through SchooLinks, the district's college, career, and postsecondary planning platform. SchooLinks is integrated with Parchment, allowing students to manage transcript requests alongside college applications, career planning, and seek other postsecondary opportunities in one location.

Per HCPS policy and the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is younger than 18. If the student is 18 or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian or responsible person without the student’s written consent.

  • Former students and graduates should continue to request transcripts through Parchment.

All May graduates may order electronic records at no charge until July 31 of their graduation year. On Aug. 1 of each school year, May graduates are considered alumni by the Parchment platform. An alumni record is defined as the record of a graduate, or the record of a student who has withdrawn from school. All alumni requests are processed by the HCPS Office of Records Management.

You can check the status of any request by logging into your SchooLinks account. Requests will be processed during HCPS’ normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). During the summer, normal business days are Monday through Thursday.
