Landon Nott with Rivers Edge Elementary School

A smiling man holds a bright yellow tote bag with "Yay of the Day!" printed on it in front of a school crest backdrop.

YAY LANDON NOTT! Landon Nott, a school counselor at Rivers Edge Elementary School, is today's Yay of the Day honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at Rivers Edge!

YAYWORTHY:

Nominator Juliana Santiago said,

"He is attentive to all the kids, and always willing to help. He notices who needs help before having to be asked.

"On the first day kindergarten, my son was crying and he was afraid of entering the building, and Mr. Nott approached us and he was so nice. My son immediately felt confident with him, and entered the school without looking back."

Thank you for all you do, Landon, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
